The largest commercial grower of succulent plants is looking for an HR Director to join their team! You will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies that support our business objectives. You will play a crucial role in cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring the well-being and professional development of our employees.Key Responsibilities:Talent Acquisition:Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.Develop and implement effective strategies to attract and retain top talent in the succulent industry.Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.Employee Relations:Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our company values.Address employee concerns and conflicts, providing guidance and resolutions in a fair and consistent manner.Implement programs that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.Performance Management:Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, regular check-ins, and annual reviews.Provide support and guidance to managers in addressing performance issues and fostering employee growth.Learning and Development:Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce.Identify opportunities for career development and succession planning.Compensation and Benefits:Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.Stay informed about industry trends and benchmarks to ensure our offerings remain competitive.Compliance:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.Implement and update HR policies and procedures as needed.Qualifications:Must be bilingual (writing and speaking)15-20 years experience in HRBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience as an HR Director or in a senior HR leadership role.Knowledge of succulent or plant-related industries is a plus.Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
